Whether you are getting married in Barbados ( like this one , top ) , or in your local village hall, you are going to get the same level of expertise and care, albeit a large or small intimate wedding . You see , although the location is important, I believe that the couple should be the focus of the event and of my attentions from start to finish.
As your photographer on your wedding day I fully understand , that I am being entrusted to provide image for your memories and tasked to record faithfully the essence of this wonderful event. Whether it is getting the formal pictures, or the must have record group shots - Aunties, Grandparents and godchildren, the fly on the wall images ,( reportage ) , or not fly on the wall pictures of fleeting moments . Or perhaps that Signature style shot taken as the skies start to fade a little and the colours start to dance.? This is where the magic all comes together and with the help of some light shaping tools, portable diffusion of light with a soft box , I can make that magic happen. The whole day's photography is done with a view to the Album - Book , arranged by me in the following weeks after the wedding, to become a family air-loom..These Albums , or Books are produced by a specialist printer based in Scotland who, only provide to the professional Photographer directly . They have a wide range of products aimed at the Wedding client , manufactured to the highest of standards for you, the customer. I must say that of all the types of work that I do, I really enjoy the privilege of sharing your amazing day, being a part of it, but always in the background. After all it is your day.

High resolution camera gear allows me to shoot in all lights and conditions, with appropriate portable lighting should the circumstances allow. I take the images with the Album in mind . Your's to treasure over the years to come , to pass down to your family and children and for them to treasure too. However, it is not just about the gear. It is about the experience and eye of the Wedding photographer to interpret what he sees at that fleeting moment and capture it for eternity. To understand the light and how it sculptures the scene takes years of practice and practiced skill.
As your photographer on the day, we will have met personally, or Skype called to discuss in detail your requirements on the day. This is essential on two levels. Firstly so that you can meet me, and be comfortable with my presence. It is a two way deal. You should feel that you are happy with me as a photographer and that my style of photography is in line with your expectations. Secondly, so that I can meet you and again ascertain our suitability to work together to get the most wonderful images that can be obtained on the day. This relationship of understanding I feel is very important for both the Clients and the Photographer . Perhaps some Engagement images ( Pre Wedding photo shoot ) in the weeks before the event, would help you both to feel comfortable in front of the Camera lens, get some additional memories and pictures and see how I work.
